Well, they're pop punk with screaming every so often. Call it popcore, whatever. Either way they sure aren't hardcore or emo.

What the hell, you genre fftl as pop-punk, If you want pop-punk try fall out boy, but hey i'm not saying they suck but, butalone makes me less like your review. If I had to classified them I would say, post -hardcore punk. Also and don't think you gave secrets don't make friends it's full credits, I mean it's lyrics were great and the singing rocked, It's most likely my fav song on the album. Anyways this band is very diverse, I can't really classify them as a genre without it sounding dumb. I mean Sonny can really put it out there with his great vocals, and he is only 17 his pretty amazing. However his whining can get annoying, but some of the song work with it. They are one of the few bands that sing and scream that actually scream and not some shitty scream that's so fake, like some bands I know"cough cough" Hawthorne heights" cough cough shit band". But in any case it's probablly one of the best albums of the year for me, and I guess in that certain area of genre. Overall I give it a 4.5/5

Rusty, I didn't put it under any genre, I just reviewed the album. The band was already classified.

Good CD, they were recommended to me by a friend who saw them live. He told me they kinda sounded a little like Taking Back Sunday, with slightly a little more of a pop sound to them, and he was right. TBS is great, so to say they kinda sound similar is a compliment.

This album is hit or miss for me. I really enjoy a few songs, while I strongly dislike others. I'd say my favourites would be: Note to Self, Secrets Don't Make Friends, and Ride the Wings of Pestilence. Their drummer is quite talented for this genre as well.

Secrets Don't Make Friends and Note To Self, i think are the best songs on this CD. i like this band alot, they have confidance and they're in it all for the love of the music.

Solid reveiw, I've heard the first single from this record and I'm seeing them live in the spring w/ fall out boy (dont ask me why im going, but it could be a good show)
IMO Bert looked like an ugly woman in that video.
