Good cd, they were building on what would be their best cd, A Predator's Portrait.

Shit, I am busting this album out for the first time in a long time. The title track just starts this album out really nice. Love the

guitar melodies in the chorus.

Literally no idea why this band gets so much slack... well I do really it was Stabbing The Drama (worst move of their career) and maybe the transition from Predator's Portrait to NBC (I really think NBC is still probably one of the best Sweish Melodeath albums out there though) I personally think In Flames is A LOT more boring, I'm not impressed by anything they write and Strid is a way better vocalist and continues to impress me with his progress on his cleans. Shame he doesn't feel like his can pull off the ear splitting screams he does on SBS or Chainheart Machine anymore though. (Disintegrated Skies is a pretty good example of how extreme is screams get.) I digress...

I think this album is a complete masterpiece,it just appeals to my tastes perfectly. I don't think there's a single album I've listened to more, not one track I dislike and the musicianship on the album is outrageously under credited.

No idea where the 'emo' comes from, I think that's ridiculous. Especially not from this album anyway. Music snobs that don't even know how to play music seem especially eager to force uneducated opinions down people's throats... Funny that.

Yeah this album rules. My favorite Soilwork by far. The panning on Machine Gun Majesty is one of the coolest things ever.
