Download is illegal, and besides doesn't it feel rewarding to hold an actual album in your hands?
Yeah, youre right I suppose. I usually only use slsk for very underground punk bands that have broken up.

i agree. dear you is their worst imho. get this first, then get bivouac and unfun. if you then love those, get dear you. but i don't like it much at all.
great review though. i wouldn't consider in saddining around a key track, but that's just me.

This took a while to grow on me back in the day, but really, Blake's vocals and the generally downtrodden feel of the music just pull it all together for me. Bivouac is damn awesome though too. I think it is probably the most raw emotive Jawbreaker album out there.

dear you is better

The album has one of the best first halfs ever. The first four songs are some of my favorite songs.

I've been listening to this a lot. It took me a little while to get totally into it, but I like it a lot now.
I suppose I should go for Dear You next, right?

I'd say Bivouac honestly. Dear You never really did it for me, but I also haven't heard it in a while. I think I need to reaquire it probably.

idk this isnt as awesome as people make out but it's still great

Dear You is easily their best album. This one's great also. In fact, I may bump it up a rating.

Excellent review, one of the best I've read. Both this and Dear You are classics, but are very different albums. Dear You is way more accessible than this; Blake's vocals are clear, the songs are better produced and well structured etc.
This is more of a punk album in comparison.
