What?! You do realise you have to atleast have some talent to make good music. Go back to your White Stripes:thumb:
Can anyone tell me what is wrong with this post? Besides assuming that I like The White Stripes, of course.

I used to love this album, I never listen to it anymore though. Blind is a good song.
I dont consider FNM to be nu-metal at all.
You don't think that songs like Jizzlobber and The Gentle Art of Making Enemies sound just a bit Nu-Metal-ish?

I couldn't do all of the tracks because I didn't have the album handy, so I only did the ones that stuck out for me. I generally preferred the rawer attitude of songs like "Faget," "Clown," and "Shoots and Ladders" instead of the more generic angsty feelings of those songs you mentioned.

this album sounds alot like michael jacksons "bad" i love the acoustic solo in divine
en those chords in divine are very sensitive. my grandma got this for her birthday she loved the mandolines in ball tongue. i also think that they have to tune lower because the guitar sounds alsmost like a banjo

Korn.. created nu-metal, there sound is still unique.. simple riffs that sound nice and heavy.. and fieldy? damn'it he's the extra flavour of the band he gave the band sumthn i dont hear from any other bands out there..

Is it me or can't anyone hear other bands bass guitars? i can't hear crap if i do its just a pluck of one string which sounds crap.. so anyway korn is my personal favourite band i'd give this album a good 4.5/5 bad thing that couple of the tracks sounded to alike.. but 5/5 for groundbreaking music..

Deftones>Korn

4 albums of varying intensities, directions and styles compared to all the ones Korn have done that sound almost exactly the same. There really can't be any argument surely?

Incidentally great review

Nu-metal is still metal, whether you like it or not.

Linkin Park is just pop. Korn practically INVENTED nu-metal, and it was a fine genre for a while.

This is by far the best Korn CD out there. It is a shame that nobody really credits Korn for their old stuff. Just their new stuff or whatever is popular.

Finally a Korn review done by someone with some actual knowledge on the band. You gotta understand where Jon is coming from to understand most of his songs. Good review, and you are right, Silveria rapes on the drums for never having formal lessons :P

I don't understand why everyone loves Blind (or this album for that matter.) The intro is a straight rip-off of "Too Many Puppies" and they sound like a shitty version of Faith No More. I guess I can understand the emotion behind this album, but other than that, I don't see what the big deal is. It's not even origional. They took what other bands were already doing and made it sound like crap.
