nigga i knew youd 5 it! if you dig this you should dig some of his other stuff then. Trout Mask is by far his most experimental album most of his other stuff is still experimantal-ish but more accessible like this.

Man, I didn't remember this album was so fantastic until putting it on today for the first time in
months. Every song is gold, pretty much. I'm ready to bump this up to 4.5 as soon as I finish this
listen through.

trout mask is quite different, it's basically all over the place (intentionally), but it's quite possible to really like a lot of what beefheart did but still hate trout mask so dont let it put you off exploring the other albums
