I'm pretty sure most of the people who posted here are just saying radio friendly because they think its cool. Plenty of songs on here are borderline metal.

It's Fun To Mention That The Guy Has Written All The Lyrics To Anthrax's Upcoming Album , So You Can't Fuck With Corey's Lyrics. He's Also Been Asked To Fill In As The Vocalist Of Anthrax (Another Reason Not To Fuck With Him)
Stone Sour Is Not A Side Project And Its Roots Go Back To Much More Earlier Than Slipknot's , Altuogh Slipknot Is A Better Band.Corey Taylor Was First A Founding Member Of Stone Sour Brfore Joining Slipknot And Replacing Anderes Colsefini (Slipknot's Original Singer). This Message Edited On 08.14.07

Anthrax's lyrics are stupid.

@ BD
I don't even think I've listened to this, and I've had it for almost 3 months.
|
| |
You know it's true. Their lyrics are just quasi-insightful political preaching interspersed with songs about comic books or whatever. I still like them though.
|
| |
Yeah, I know. Pretty catchy at times though, especially 'Safe Home'.

Anthrax's new Album Is Not Gonna Be Released Till Maybe 2008, So You Can't Judge The Lyrics By Now. Am I right?
|
| |
No, I'm just judging Anthrax's lyrics in general.
BTW, why is the fact that Corey Taylor wrote the lyrics to Anthrax's newest album a reason not to fuck with Corey Taylor?

I don't know what there isn't to like about this band.

khashayarx shut up
This record isn't terrible (although the lyrics are trite.) I like Taylor's vocals more than on Slipknot, personally. It's indeed a kind of standard radio hard rock sound, but it's straightforwards. It isn't really meant to be complex. I think it probably does what it does very well even though it isn't really big on what I value on music. Kind of enjoyable and catchy at times.

I like Through Glass and 30/30/150 tbh.

Fairly well written review, but I'd have to disagree with the comment you made about the band's members being "brilliant musicians." Sorry but I have not heard anything from any of these guys that screams brilliant.
But the ballads on this album are all pretty good, much better than the rest of the material I think

30/30-150 is like, the only song I like from this album anymore. The other 2 songs I only ever listened to Through Glass, and Sillyworld) were on the radio waaaaaaay too much
