This is the second-best live album I've got...second to Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds "Live at Luther College," of course...

Truly one of the most talented bands in history. I just got this on vinyl and I cracked up when I saw that Whipping Post took up an entire side! Awesome album.

Excellent Job!!
Not that I like to admit it but I was there that night!! for that concert at the Filmore East!!! I sat down stairs. The Security Guards spent most of the night destroying Boot Leg tapes!!!
The sound was awesome!! Not many venues now can re-create that sound!!! Alot of the tracks played that night ended up on 'Eat A Peach'. It was one of the few times you can hear both Duane Allman and Berry Okaley together.

Everybody bow to this cd! Id like to do a review of the Deluxe Edition they released of this a few years back, as its the same thing but with MORE songs! Its so funny, within a time of two weeks, this was planted firmly in my top 5 alums of all time. It just smokes and they tear it up all over the place. Great drinking album.

Bill Graham deserves praise for all the awesome bands that played and we're recorded at Fillmore East. Didn't he also manage The Last Waltz?

listened to the album all the way through roughly ten times in the last week, absolutely mind blowing. Allman Brothers need to be discussed here.
