I thought something like that was happening.

Because the drumming to An Autopsy and Ghost of a Stranger is a lot more intense when compared to the rest of the album IMO.

These guys rule, but Brett Batdorf made them truly amazing.

Yes Derek used to be the singer of a band called The Taste Of Blood but you wouldnt know it if you listened to em. He completely changed his sound for these guys. I advise you to check out TTOB as they are awesome as well. They are not as good as these guys but their worth a listen.

Missed a bolding there, but I suggest you pick one thing to bold i.e., track names, band names, or album titles, then italicize one of the others, and underline the last. It makes it easier to pick out what is what.

Hbp, BTBAM are as much death metal as they are hardcore, progressive and a bunch of other stuff. Trying to argue BTBAM genre is really a pointless argument.

Anyways I really like the songs on their myspace, I'm probably gonna try to buy this in the near future.

By the way how do you do the quoto box again? This Message Edited On 08.01.07

[quote] [quote] with a backslash before the second quote.

I wasn't going to try and argue the genre, I was just making an obvious clarification.

It's easily one of the best decent death metal offerings. Blows most so-called technical death bands straight out of their paddling pools.

This album slays pretty hard. The end to Pestilence is so tight. I love the quirky little guitar leads at the end of it.

This band seems like on of the better ones in their field. I need to check this out.

This is one of the few metal bands that still doesn't bores me. Most everything else I've gotten sick of but this album is genius. Akeldama (the song) blows my mind, and Pestililence, An Autopsy, and Leica are kickass fucking tunes.

Dude, did you take that opening paragraph right from one of Thor's reviews? His Unearth - III review to be exact? This Message Edited On 08.21.07

@Hbp: I don't think so, they have the same bands bolded, but other than that, it's either a very odd coincidence, or this guy just based his paragraph loosely on Thor's.

Nah, I definitely didn't take anything from Thor's paragraph. I haven't actually read that review, but I'll go look at it. If it is too similar, I'll change it.
