I take it you haven't heard the album. That part almost brings it down to a 4.5 haha. Super cheesy. I'm almost embarrassed to listen to that part with friends in the car.

Hahahahaha why would this be playing in the car with your friends? Isn't this like one of those albums that your supposed to listen to in solitude of something? hahaha

I kind of like the cheesy poetry these guys string together Eak.

the only time I listened to agalloch with someone else was with my ex, and it was the part that said "there has never been a silence like this before!"

Haha, I rarely ever listen to albums in solitude. Whenever I have the chance, I always play my music instead. And I make my friends listen to everything. If they don't like black metal, they're fucked.

I do to, but it's also kinda hilarious. Like in Unholy Black Metal when Nocturno just goes, "Bleh!" It's awesome, but also funny.

Listening to music alone is really the only way to properly listen to music and this isna good album to do it and done it a few times. I blame this site for encouraging me to withdrawl from society.

I really enjoy being outside on a grey day, listening to this album. Absolutely perfect for that kind of setting, especially today.

Bergtatt is best to listen to while driving through forests at night.

And yeah,

I SAW THE NIGHTFALL IT CALLED TO ME LIKE A RIVER OF SHADOWS AND IT SANG TO ME WITH THE CRIES OF A THOUSAND RAVENS THAT BLACKENED THE SKY AS THEY TOOK FLIGHT AND SANK THE SOL

is cheesy as hell. God knows why they added in in.

Aaaaah... whenever I listen to The Mantle, it brings back memories of walking through the forest, or sitting by a fire reading a book.... good times, good times.
