i think we all have that one band that we loved, usually in the early teens, the one that you'd kinda exalt above all else. the one band that got you into actively pursuing music.

for many millennials it's bands like slipknot or linkin park or nirvana, or bands like the beatles or led zeppelin from their parents...

well this was that one band for me.

in fact, i actively avoided listening to newer types of music and even different bands for years because i thought "if i listen to more kinds of music/bands, then i'll love this band less."

and that's exactly what happened, and i certainly don't regret it. but i'll never forget what this meant for me...

I'm with you on the old Mayday nostalgia binge. This band brings back so many memories of high school for me it's crazy. One Man Drinking Games is still such a great song.
