I love this album. Falling asleep to Calm before the Storm is very pleasant.

This is really, really good. Will give it a few more listens over the next few days before I decide a rating.

The acoustic tracks were pretty good, also.

I really wasn't sure whether I wanted to give this a 4 or a 4.5, so I'm giving it a 4 with a very strong chance of changing my rating over time and as it grows on me even more. The strongest 4 I've ever given.

This record is immense.

I listened to this all the way through this morning.

It's, in all seriousness, the best record I've ever heard. It pretty much encompasses everything I love about music; this is just so fucking good.

You need to listen to the whole album to get the entire effect. Kiss of Babylon is fantastic though.

Kal, that rating of yours went up quite a bit, and deservedly so.

This takes a while. Folk bands often run into problems with using the folk instrumentation properly, and the main weakness of Orphaned Land is that sometimes they feel tacked on. But there's not much else to fault here.

For similar music, dig what I dig.

If a non-metalhead loves this metal album, then god dammit, I'll listen to it too.

I loved this so much at first. It definitely grew off me, but it's still pretty great.
