oh the better lovers album art is pretty good, not really comparable to NJA but I think it captures the vibe of that record pretty well.

ya gutter is the closest thing they’ve ever had to a dud and even then it’s still pretty good

but ya following Hot Damn would’ve been rough no matter what and it just makes it so much worse.

@pourradass I don’t get the hype for that track. Did quite enjoy Rendez-Voodoo though.

Agree Gutter is underrated. At least the first half of it supremely slaps. I've had problems getting into The Big Dirty and I've never really liked the album cover for it.

From hot Damn onwards there are no duds.

A lot of love here for NJA but nobody has singled out White Smoke? what a tuuuuune.

And where is all the love for Ex Lives? Criminally overlooked in their discog.

I'd love to try and rank them but I'm pushing 40 and still have a full head of hair, I fear the stress of an ETID rank might have me pulling it out.

Fuck it I’ll do it

Worst - Gutter Phenomenon

Last Night in Town

Big Dirty

Ex Lives

From Parts Unknown

Hot Damn

New Junk Aesthetic

Low Teens

Best - Radical

tbh Low Teens and New Junk are pretty much interchangeable but this is definitely their best

I've given White Smoke a ton of love. Best song on NJA IMO and maybe my outright favorite of theirs. Fun as fuck to play too.

I personally prefer the more fun care-free/hardcore leaning stuff but I wouldn't rate any album under a 3.5

We aren't crazy far removed from a time when people were up in arms at the idea that an ETID could be ranked above Hot Damn!

Never quite understood why people like NJA more than Dirty, when it doesn't do anything that Dirty didn't already do. 8/10 across the board, ever since LNIT.

I like the lyrics and production on NJA more and I think the songs overall are an improvement but I can see the argument that its splitting hairs

Production on NJA to Big Dirty is like comparing this to Low Teens, and tbh aside from this and maybe Low Teens it’s fs the best Keith has been lyrically.
