Pittura Infamante has such great riffing, it's brilliant how this band nails so many different styles.

Okay, the leak I had checked was fake. I heard some leaked tracks: Gore, AH, PB. They're freakin' nice.

love the title track on gore. that's a banger that's right up there with their older material. ending of phantom bride turned me to dust

so stoked to hear the new album! i hope it surprises this chug-heavy, mostly mediocre album by a lot.

can't see myself compromising sound quality. the radio version of p/t sounds infinitely worse than the album version, for example.

I like it about the same as this, it's similar but a little more diverse.

Three listens in, and it's essentially the album I've been wanting Deftones to make since I first got into them. It's got so much atmosphere, and the melodies are soaring on every track. There's not a weak track there either. Tons of post-hardcore influence too.

I initially didn't like Doomed User, but it grew on me a lot and its placement on the album is really nice.

Honestly it feels like what KNY should have been.

Fuck, Phantom Bride might be my favorite song these guys have done in over ten years.

From what I've been reading, Gore is more or less a continuation of the KNY sound but with the boundaries being pushed further?

This is a lot closer to Saturday Night Wrist and Team Sleep I think. It's like they made an entire record out of the atmospheric influences from that album.

Very much feels like an evolution of SNW.
