Death is prob top 5 for me.

Top 3 would be neurosis, meshuggah and gorguts. Completely unrankable

I didn't really care for Meshuggah until I went thru their discog in chronological order late last year/early this year. Seeing their progression as a band really made it start to make sense and now I love em

I bought nothing when it came out. Enjoyed it a tad but kinda lost track of them after that. Then when I joined sput in 2012 I saw how much people liked them and gave em another chance and instantly loved em. First album that clicked was destroy erase improve

Shug is the first/only djent band that matters.

I bought "I" because the concept of a 21-minute heavy metal song blew my teenage mind.

Oh yeah I first heard about them in 2002 when I saw them on either Fuse or one of those other channels, bought Nothing and they've been my #1 band ever since

I remember obsessing when Catch 33 came out, then seeing them really explode with obZen and then djent becoming a thing. Good times.

I is still some of my favorite Meshuggah, whenever I just want 20 minutes of Meshuggah it's a pretty perfect encapsulation of what I want from them.
