My first impressions of Gore are positive overall. Better than KNY which I thought was good but not great. These songs have a complicated, almost progressiveness to them that will take many listens to really digest but that's a good thing in my opinion. Loving the atmosphere and gazeyness of the album.

I even like Doomed User now better in context to the rest of the album. It's probably my least fav though.

This is a very informative article for anyone that cares, maybe this is old news but I had no idea that they were almost caught up in the terrorist attacks in Paris.
I'm happy to see that the rumors of band tensions were exaggerated, Carpenter only initially had a problem with Hearts/Wires because he was associating it with Silence of the Lambs for whatever reason.
