I would've liked to see what would happen if Mike had written another album in the Watershed style like he was. No diss on heritage of course.

Yeah, I wouldn't object to it; that, or if they had gotten heavier of course.

If they continued with making songs like Hex Omega, i'd be more than happy

Once I saw a video of Opeth performing Hex Omega. I'm not 100% sure, there's a slight possibility it was Face of Melinda, but my memories claim otherwise, and Mike said before playing the song sth like ''Here's a song you might not want to hear, but we love to play it'' It was weird because it's a friggin' awesome song indeed.

Ye it was at the Sonisphere show, I was there! :D

'Here's a song you probably don't like as much as we do, but we're going to play it anyway' is what he said, to be precise ;]

Oh i've seen that; it's definitely Hex Omega and it was during Sonisphere, which was a great set by the way.

I think it's just not what Opeth fans expected back then, so it was met a lot of negativity

Ye man, when he got the crowd to headbang to nothing, that shit was hilarious.

Only letdown is the mix of the live set on Youtube, it kinda sucks.
