Did the cover art grow on yall. I hated it at first tbh bit grew on me a ton actually. Whenever I look at it I'm picturing some sci-fi/horror b rated movie or some shit. Or some old school ps1 game right? He's the boss battle at the end of the game lol

Yes beyond hyped at this point and TOMORROW is the DAY!!!

I like the album art, suits them fine. Never really cared for most of their art anyway but I like the consistency between covers. It works. They're always easily identifiable as Meshuggah covers.

Hi Trif, new Meshuggah is a good news, yes. Recently, discovered that Koloss/Obzen/Nothing are all my fav #1 (5), followed closely by Chaosphere/Catch33(both 4.5). I am still learning to appreciate DestroyEraseImprove, it grows, so i am confident.

In Meshuggah, there is an intriguing level of dept and music complexity, non conventional, and quite well delivered. The way they place/use sound voids and quasi math music structure feel futuristic in a good way. Exceptionally creative. They are like the leader band of new sub-genre. Fan or not fan, that is not the question here. It is a fact. Often, people are scared/frustrated about fact because they want only opinions. But, this is an other story. Genius music band, they are. New LP seem promising. Cheers.

Nice analysis and WHAT a good top 3. Mine includes Nothing and Koloss too, with DEI rounding it off. obZen not far behind.

Genius band indeed.

I haven't seen sputnik this hyped for an album in a long time. Cool to see it. Never could understand the appeal of Catch33 or I ep but I love a lot of their other stuff
