"it is literally IMPOSSIBLE for any song on DSOTM to not relate to you."

It is if the music just doesn't do anything for me Space bro haha

I think he meant more lyrically than musically.

I would agree with SpaceMan. The subjects presented us on Dark Side pertain to the human experience and, thus, is something everyone can relate to. For me, this is especially true of Time.

Yeah, I haven't been a Floyd fan that long anyways, so I dig that you dug my dissection Space. Your analysis seems pretty spot on as well as zak's.

Saying it is impossible for any piece of music to not connect with at least one person is pretty unreasonable.

Not so much the music but the subject matter is something we can all relate to and 'connect' to no matter who we are.

I know Space meant lyrically but for me to connect to an album, I also have to be really into the

music too.

But i'm a pretty cold fish anyway i dont really connect with lyrics much at all, especially all those annoying emo things that are like

'oh boo hoo im really moody, did you ever feel like this when you were a teen and your hormones were fucked up and you were emotionally immature and had a delicate poetic flower growing inside ? yeh me too !! lets connect because its really personal innit and dont really happen to loads of fucking people on the planet at that age buy our records because we really are your band'

Lol. It's weird for me cause if the lyrics aren't that great, the music usually saves the whole thing for me, but it usually doesn't work the other way around for me.
