Already heard the first two singles so I just jammed the other two… it’s fine. Youd be forgiven for thinking they’re ETID b sides. Acid Test and Counting Teeth are indeed better than the singles but I don’t see myself listening to this a month from now

yeah Keith is still the main draw when it comes to Many Eyes and vocally he still sounds great, which was not ever an issue I had with that first record, but these lyrics are not peak form for him.



The EP was fine. I gave it a couple of listens last night but like I said its probably not something I’m gonna be jamming even a week from now

As much as I enjoy Better Lovers… they’ll never reach the heights of this band. And it’s fucking clear Many Eyes won’t come close. Even this new batch of tracks, despite being their best yet, it just isn’t even in the same ballpark, hell it aint even in the same league.
