I feel i've become burnt out of listening to Death. A decade ago this would have been a 5 for me, but now I'm struggling to call any Death album a 5. Even Symbolic, I find 1000 Eyes and Misanthrope a little boring which deflates the score to a 4.5.

Not really, I jammed Death a Hell of a lot back when I was like 14/15/16/17/18, but this last decade I've only really listened to Symbolic ten times, and find the same issues every time. Zero Tolerance is another song I don't really get into anymore at all.
The same goes for this and Human, the other two I truly loved (was never massively into Individual Thought Patterns although maybe another listen might reinvigorate my love for Death)

Ye ITP doesn't really have that instant gratification as much as Symbolic, Leprosy or even Human. Der vor I listen to it much less than those three but when I do I enjoy it quite a bit
