I also like to know that I'm supporting my bands financially.

I want a vinyl copy of Saturday Night Wrist since I have everything else on CD. SNW is the only one I don't have a physical copy of.

I don't buy anything often but I still do when I can. If I had a job I would have a shit ton more stuff.

I don't buy many albums, I typically buy band merchandise or go see the band live. The thing is the band makes like 5

cents per album, or 1 cent per member. With live shows and merch they get a much larger cut. Not that I'm opposed

cd/s, I just like to know I'm helping the band. AND I have no money.

I think bands make more than just 5 cents per album.. but they do generally make more off of shows and merch. Going to start getting merch from my favorite local bands soon, whenever they actually have some.

Believe me, it's a really small number for most bands. It's not a stretch to say they probably make under 10 cents a sale from a retail store.

Like how Neurosis still has full time jobs. Pretty sure Converge mostly survives from side project money (Deathwish, Kurt's producing, side bands, etc.).

It's different if it's worth $100,000.. I'm pretty sure ATDR, as gay as they are, make enough money

to make a living.

Edit: Nevermind, I only saw the first thing about custom Martin guitars. The Pawn Stars guys always

rip the hell out of people off.
