to imply that 'Nothing' or 'Catch 33' is not a maturely written album is baffling to me. The comments from 2008 are hilarious. Tyler saying that Meshuggah is best off as an EP writing band. He also said in a Bolt Thrower thread that it has 'ass pounding riffs' which is really an interesting take.

Bleed is great, and maybe it's hearing it too many times, but if I had to rank all the songs on this album, it'd easily be in the lower half.



It still kicks ass, mind you. But there's a lot of even greater songs here imo
