It's crazy how bad that Many Eyes album is when this only dropped a few years before. Keith was in top form here

I only listened to that Many Eyes album once but I remember Keith's voice sounding good despite the music and lyrics being horrible

His vocals were perfectly fine, everything else was the problem including, like you said, the godawful lyrics. I have no fuckin idea how he went from the absolute pissed off fire spitting on this album to whatever the fuck Many Eyes is.

It’s either mid tier butt rock or C grade ETID rip offs. Bad bad bad

Yea it's the lyrics and music that sucked for me. Keith sounded find but that means nothing when his bar is so high

I said it in the other thread but this song reads as if he actually gave a fuck when writing it instead of rushing some shit out to drop before the better lovers record.

It’s easily better than anything on that first album

stop I’ll get upset if I even think about it.

don’t cry because it’s over, cry because it happened and now you miss it

Damn that might be enough to fill a lot of the ETID void if the rest of the EP is that good. It's still missing the magic of Jordan and Andy's unique guitar riffs but it sounds pretty close to NJA era ETID.

I wouldn’t go that far but it’s fun and made me wanna maybe go see them when they come thru next month

As much as he’s pissed me off these last few years I’d still like to see Keith perform

Yeah as far as metal musicians alienating their band and fans Keith is on the lower end of the spectrum.

He still brings it live with Many Eyes. Dude is a top-tier frontman.
