That's probably mostly because it feels like a fresh way of listening to an album they've known for a long time. But if one song fades into the other it's safe to say the album wants you to listen to those songs in sequence, which is the case here and also the case with that equally misguided OK Computer-In Rainbows thing, so yeah, it's honestly not really up to debate.
