Finally listening to the full Death discography (long overdue).
My first impression of this album is that it's a massive step down from Symbolic. If this wasn't a Death album, I probably would not listen to it again and not give it much of a thought. But seeing as it is a Death album, I'll probably give it a few more spins and see if something clicks.
But nothing jumped out at me the way it did with their previous albums (although there are definitely still some sick riffs sprinkled throughout).
