this album gets better as it goes on, second half is the best

this is more grandiose and fuzzy and distant and larger scale which works for the most part but one or two songs overstay their welcome (eg runaway)

if you're looking for something in line with those two tracks then i'd go with either alligator or twfm before this

alligator is rougher round the edges, impulsive

twfm is smooth, confident

but yea can't go wrong with either, both are more immediate than boxer which is still their best imo but let's not open that can of worms cos you could ask 1000 people what their fave natty is and get 300/300/300 for gator/boxer/this

actually, the first four songs off s/t are great

and then the quality drops
