Thats the right decision Dave.

I mean he's good at dm vox, I'm definitely not saying he's not but the first time I listened to this while reading the lyric sheet I literally lol'd, like there's no way that "ROOOOHHHH ROOHROOOOHHHHHHH ROOHHOROOOHHHHH" is actually

"We hate, and so we gather

By the light of the moon;

The art of veneficium...

This we learned from you..."

I'm not saying he's a bad vocalist, he's a great vocalist. It's just impossible to decipher the lyrics most of the time just by listening

"i know the newest vocalist (matt) had admitted to just going "ruhrurhrhhuruhrhur" during live shows"

I watched Lord Worm live on some 2000's video and he just did the same thing as far i can tell lol not a shocker

being a cryptopsy vocalist must be fun, if you're good at it. you don't have to learn a single lyric, just go up there and go "URHRHUHRUHRURUHRURURUH" for a 45 minute set and you're good

Even Corpsegrinder seems to rely on the same approach, on the album is where you can kinda understand some phrasing, but live shows are just that

@shadow, yeah there are definitely times that, reading along with the lyric sheet you can tell he's saying the lyrics. I still stand by my statement that it's impossible to know what he's saying without reading the lyrics tho

I'm not really into the recent vocalist tbh, his growls live sound just silly, the screams are really good tho

"this album fuckin rips so hard man"

My fav part about it are the crushing riffs and the swag on the grooves, is ridiculously good

Which is not at all out of place in dm. It's just extra funny with this album because the lyrics are technically pretty well-written
