Lol, my throat hurts because I can feel Jacob's pain. All cheesy and stuff I know. My favorite moments are the ending of The Broken Vow, The Chorus in Heaven in Her Arms, and the ending of Pheonix in Flight.

I'm pretty sure that the last half of Jane Doe is the best, most beautiful, and most emotional part.

The Broken Vow is probably the second best.

Intro to Heaven in Her Arms is probably my favorite riff.

I also love the bass in Hell to Pay.

I really love the drums in every song.

Ben Koller's style and technique is my favorite out of any drummer I have ever heard. Srsly.

Favorite riff would have to be either the break in Bitter and Then Some, or the beginning to Fault and Fracture. Or the beginning of Homewrecker AHH IDK!

I haven't learned it, but I know Concubine and The Broken Vow. Do you play by ear eternium?

I can't even tune by ear. Had to look up tabs.

^this is true for me, and recently ive been real pissed about it. I would love to be able to play by ear.

Haha, I looked up TBV with tabs, but learned Concubine by ear. I might do a cover of it on my Youtube because no one has ever done it on guitar, but I am debating because Converge is kind of one of those bands you just don't really cover.

I would cover Converge if I could find a vocalist good enough. I highly doubt I could though.

I can play Concubine through Broken Vow.

Which is nearly impossible. I have a friend who could do it, just not as passionate. Pretty much he sounds just like Dallas Taylor. I meant just on guitar though. lol

Edit: ^I know Dark Horse

I know Axe to Fall. Converge is hard as hell to play/learn though.

Indeed it does. Dark Horse, Axe to Fall, and Dead Beat are probably by 3 favorites.

Word. Not as hard as some of the BtBaM songs I have learned, but Converge is way better musically anyways. Kurt's guitar style is more up my alley as well.

Oh yes. My more metalcore guitar playing is basically a mix of Converge and Botch.

Very nice. My playing seems to be a mix of Kurt Ballou leads, Omar Rodriguez-Lopez lines and pedal usage, and Mathy time signatures. Well, I mean those are my biggest influences so I would like to think I sound like that. lol

I'm more of a rhythm player, so I mostly use different kinds of chords, with the occasional dissonant one. Then I sometimes play more sludgy stuff or post-rockish diddles.

Nice, I really like heavy riffs though, especially when they come out of nowhere and smash your face in like Diamond Eyes. I actually tend to write Post-Rock the easiest, although I personally think all of my Post-Rock sounds the same.
