After a couple of listens, I Am That Thirst might be slightly better than Light The Shortening Fuse

Out of the usual suspects theres about 12 ppl that love the new song and about 3 or 4 tops that dont. Sounds good to me. Album will rule hard. Most talked about and one of the most loved albums in awhile incoming.

Yes to all of the above (Jay, Lucca, Em, Monuments, Cotton). I like this one quite a bit more than Fuse. Very lovely.

Is there really production complaints on new singles/album? I dont get it seems to split people. Warm mix. They said they were going to make a more warm less ear fatigue production sounds good. Dense heavy low bottom end but still not grating on the ears. Warm heavy dense. Great sound.

drum sound kinda sucks that’s my main gripe with it. doesn’t turn me off from the album but a big regression from the production here

Agreed with trilo, that drum sound isn't my cup of tea either. A little overblown, not natural enough for my tastes. Luckily it isn't too bad, only slightly off.

The actual tracks are fantastic so I'm very hyped still.

Trif I get the drum sound complaints I guess I mean I like it but I get it. It's not terrible by any means. Theres still alot of good to be had production wise tho great bass guitars etc. Song are fantastic agreed

Yeah for sure! To me it's mainly the drum sound that stands out in the wrong way, only slightly; the rest is fine. I just wish that particular sound wasn't so popular, you hear it everywhere.

I don't mind the production tbh, i'm more concerned about the songwriting, doesn't wrasp my attention as i wanted it to do, judging by singles the album so far feels like 3.5, a solid record but nothing more
