As much meme potential as their music might have, they are magnificent composers, this album is a masterpiece in every sense of the word, and even though I've been making fun of the band's attitude in the past, they will always be one of the best bands out there for me, this one being the main reason for that.

It's not about how many time signatures they used, it's about how they used them to craft rhythmically refreshing songs that are well-structured. And if it's done it serves a purpose, like creating a mood of disorientation or tension. This is the prime example of "wanky" things done right from start to finish.
