Hey Demi's back. Ok. I'll be the first to do this.
Syke! Life is Awesome!
Felt Just Like Vacation
Struggler
Minneapolis Pt. 3/Anywhere I Lay My Head
Get Warmer/
Future 86
Sort of Like Being Pumped
Jesus Christ that was hard. I feel like Future 86 should be higher, but it's in the right spot.

Don't Destroy Yourself is definitely the actual closer for me and its perfect, Don't Have Shitty Friends is just a nice after-thought so DDY doesn't leave you so fucking depressed at the end of their last album
Anyway it goes
Syke! Life is Awesome!
Don't Destroy Yourself
Sort of Like Being Pumped
Get Warmer
Future 86
Struggler
Anywhere
|
| |
ahhhhhhhhh I'm gonna say
King of Minneapolis III/Anywhere I Lay My Head
Syke! = Don't Destroy Yourself
Felt Just Like Vacation
Future 86
Get Warmer
Struggler
I reckon "DDY" is more of an epilogue than an actual closer, but MY GOD it seriously is the best possible way that BtMI! could have closed their career (the lyrics especially accomplish this perfectly); I consider neither "80's Through the 50's" nor "Big Kisses" to be BtMI!'s "farewell" song because "DDY" is just the perfect goodbye. It may not be the closer for Vacation but I like it as the closer for BtMI!'s entire discography.

Haven't heard either of those other two you mentioned but yeah DDY cannot be topped as a farewell it just cannot

- "'80s Through the '50s" was attached the band's breakup announcement on Tumblr. It was then released on Jeff's solo "mixtape" I Look Like Shit. Come to think of it, that announcement also mentioned a new hardcore record that didn't end up happening. Wah. http://bombthemusicindustry.tumblr.com/post/28910528585/here-come-the-waterworks
- If you go to Bomb!'s official website, there's a link to "Big Kisses" on the first page. It came out a little while after they announced their breakup. http://www.bombthemusicindustry.com/bigkisses/

I can't really imagine a "good" hardcore record with jeff so I'm okay with that never happening

hell most of their first 3 albums is pretty hardcore. i would love to see him revisit that style, even if its a more conventional type of hardcore

This band has always been hardcore tinged. First three albums especially. They're just as much hardcore as they are ska really.
