post-preseason week 2 steelers check in... think our offense may have hit a new low
russ and fields have been... not good... but its hard to even really evaluate either of them right now because our offensive line (who we invested a fuck ton of money and draft capital into these past few offseasons) has been shockingly horrible. just lost our projected starting center for the season too.
russ is at least struggling against starters. fields tho? dude is missing wide open receivers even against the 2nd and 3rd stringers. dude has shown absolutely nothing to warrant the qb controversy the media has manufactured. feels like russ by a landslide.

He’s got the traits of a modern mobile QB and many people chalked his struggles up to being in Chicago. I mean we’ve seen enough Russ in the last 5 years to know what he is. Fields still has a bit of unknown around him which I guess people are drawn to. He also seems like a really nice dude from the limited exposure I have to his pressers. Wilson is the anthesis of that.
