New Many Eyes isn't too bad, but it ain't this.

sad to see things ended up this way

they are like two incomplete parts of a whole (although better lovers is a more enjoyable listen overall because puciato rules)

It does suck that this is pretty clearly their best album after some time has passed for the discog to settle. They were moving in a really interesting direction. Better Lovers is fine so far, but not a substitute for this at all.

Both Greg and Keith are amazing vocalists, but I would say Keith is a better lyricist. Listening to the Many Eyes album, there are a ton of solid moments that are elevated by some one-liner dropped by Keith. But the riffs aren't anything super interesting.

Greg > Keith overall but yes Keith is a thousand times the lyricist that Greg is. But Keith is also one of the best rock lyricists ever imo

Only gave the new many eyes one listen and yep, about as instrumentally flaccid as I would expect. Without Keith nobody would give a shit about it. I mean, shit, even with Keith I don’t really give a shit about it

yea the light age sucks as expected. there were a couple half decent riffs in amateurs and enough but all the other heavy moments are clearance rack shit. future proof and the rainbow are the only mildly passable tracks. even the production sounds like prepackaged off the shelf shit. i guess i shouldn’t be surprised given who keith worked with but man that was dogwater

Butt rock Keith sucks. ETID without Keith also sucks. Whoever wins, we've lost.

Why is the artwork for The Light Age some Audioslave looking garbage instead of the cool art they used for the singles? Keith sounds great but the album definitely sucks so far. They could've at least had cool artwork lol
