Yeah Alex I share the same feeling of disappointment. Thankfully the singles are this week so it's not that bad, still pretty excited for sure.

The countdown not leading to an actual song drop is annoying for sure. That said, it's cool that we're getting two this week. Pretty excited to hear what they've been cooking up.

Not blown away by either new track. Wildfire is boring heavy, the other track has some stronger elements but doesn't come close to the best material here.

Both singles are on Apple Music now… Wildfire is the best out of the two. Don’t care for the piano interludes though… Bowen’s electronics are much better

Enjoyed them but agree they don’t touch much on this

Edit: continued listening to the new ones and damn they are kinda mundane. It’s just heavy heavy heavy with only a little variation, of which is a good bit of lame orchestral synth.

They may fall back into boringness for me again and maybe Hail Stan was an anomaly lol

Listening atm

It's incredible how hit and miss this band can be. PII and PIV I genuinely enjoy as albums, the rest is single tracks and nothing more

Love the new singles, fanservice-y as hell but I'm a sucker for callbacks and heavy dj0nt.

I didn't like this album at first so I'm sure the new tracks will grow on me

Really missing the more melodic stuff from P1 and P2. Much more variation instrumentally and still heavy when needed.

P2 is meh too, what's good about that?

Instrumentally it was varied and didn’t get boring/monotonous. Bowen electronic interludes/incorporated into some of the songs, lots of reworked bulb demos fleshed out etc.
