Section 80 is a great collection of songs, but this and GKMC are on another level.

I don't even feel like this is a good collection of songs though, so...

Obviously I know a lot of people here disagree, I'm not refuting their ratings or whatever. Just stating why I feel Section 80 is superior, which is funny because I feel like K Dot wasn't even as developed as an artist back then, but still put out a better album than this one.

i like this album i just think its a bit long, a bit too abrasive for my liking, which means there isnt a lot of replay value, and its got too much of a protest feel for me to fully enjoy

like its very well done and its cool what kdot did with it in terms of message but as music im just not that into it and im not that interested in repeatedly listening to kdot dictate the state of racism in the modern usa (im not even american as it is)

still love the guy though but i havent been as excited about him since s80 dropped in 2011

im also not a huge fan of the use of jazz tbh, and its not because i dont like jazz or anything, it just isnt what i want to listen to when i listen to hip hop

Ayyye, Chuck we have a lot of the same opinions on this. This album might deserve more than a 2.5 from me, but it is hard for me to consider this as more than an average album considering I only come back to 3-4 songs.

Me too. Throw your hands up for Hi Power! Speaking of HiiiPoWeR, I feel the social commentary he provides in that song alone captures everything he tried to do throughout this entire album.
