hmm. I guess I could see how you guys might think that, but I think sort of like being pumped is a great song to end on. especially Jeff's repeated yelling at the end

It ain't a bad song, but it's probably my least fave BTMI! closer.

eyyyyy deathschool on my team

I think Pumped is a great closer but Saddr Weirdr right before it kinda takes away the momentum. I mean, both acoustic tracks right at the end of the album one after the other?

They have the same chord progression as well. I kind of think it's on purpose, but it's sort of awkward.

of course disregarding Party Foul (Get Warmer is still a better closer than Pumped though)

to be fair "worst BtMI closer" is still an insanely high standard; i still absolutely love Pumped

Agreed. Pumped rules. And I consider the T/t to be the closer on Get Warmer. Party Foul is kinda a bonus deal on top.

Yeah but now that I've actually paid attention to what was being said in this thread, I can't agree at all that Pumped is their weakest closer actually its probably one of my favourites

I mean surely its better than the Anywhere I Lay My Head cover at least cmon guys

Minneapolis 3 + Anywhere I Lay My Head is my favourite closer sorry, even if Syke is their best song

The way "Grudge Report" flows into "Minneapolis III" and then "Minneapolis III" flows into "Anywhere I Lay My Head" is absolutely priceless.

That cover is kinda weird

That whole album is kinda weird. That's probably why it's my favourite. There's as much passion on Goodbye Cool World! as any other BtMI! because Jeff allows himself to let completely loose, and it has the most eclectic sonic palette (i.e. diversity) of any Jeff record.

Yeah but I dunno GCW doesn't grab me like the others no idea why it has some amazing tunes though

I don't find Pumped cheesy at all it has some of Jeff's best lyrics easy

It was the first Bomb! record I heard and the last that I fell in love with. I swear, it comes with time.
