The only thing wrong with all personal tastes and obs on both albuns (that shouldn't be even compared, mind) is your rate on this...but you know that so I'll leave you to have this fun with it lol
BTW bro...haven't you checked Noise Trail Immersion yet? MarsK is the responsible for that hype last year X)

The 1 for this is something I disagree with obviously, but he's in the AVL 5 club so it's a forgivable offense.

And if you do indeed believe in that 5.0 strongly, then Noise Trail's album last year is absolutely up your alley, especially considering you also enjoy Deathspell Omega. It's worth delving into Harlots' discography as well, especially their debut.

and he can add to it his love for his recent rec on me - Plebeian Grandstand...which, any of you guys who didn't check it, must do!

Yeah I don't know about this, it's got that horrible glossy production that sounds terribly neutered and there's a distinct lack of dynamics here. I feel like it should pack some serious punch and be this 'epic' soundscape fitting of the theme, but it falls completely flat.

It doesn't help that the song-writing is often directionless, I had to double-check one of the tracks had finished, because the outro seemed so obnoxiously placed and randomly shoehorned on, that I wasn't sure it was actually the end of the song. When it isn't guilty of these sins it's just plain dull, the chugs aren't interesting and clash with the melodic sections. I'm not really sure what the aim is here.

tl;dr - AVL >

(lol at this random comparison).

This review needs more negs, standards can't have been particularly high back in the day. His riposte to the criticism on the first page made absolutely no sense either. Plus their av is disturbing, to say the least.

This user needs more negs, @demon standards can't have been particularly high for users here in 2019. His posts to the criticism on the last page made absolutely no sense either. Plus his avs are disturbing, to say the least.
