I'd say pretty much every grunge band that wasn't around by 1990 sucks yeah.
Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Mudhoney, Screaming Trees, Melvins, Smashing Pumpkins are all good. I know I'm missing a few.
But that's the majority of music tbh, there's good bands and shitty bands in every genre.
