In the Shadow of Our Pale Companion will always be my favorite, despite it being so popular.

Yeah, they are. I wished I could've seen them so badly.

Yeah, and that break-up was nasty enough I don't think they'll ever be reconvening.

The break-up wasn't that nasty tbh, at least not compared to other recent examples (Cynic is my favorite one, ugh), but it nevertheless seemed to be very definite.

Can't name a single favorite Agalloch song (they're more of an album band anyway), but props @Sevengill for Into the Painted Grey, that one's definitely a contender.

Haughm is a full time musician/artist and it has to be hard when the rest of your band have other jobs and families.

From the Don Anderson interview I read, it does seem there is quite a lot of ill feelings. The band is definitely finished

I mean it's literally his livelihood, so meeting up once a year to record a demo isn't going to pay his bills.

but nah i can sympathize with both huaghm and Andersont, They lasted 21 odd years thats a fair amount of time and im just thankful for the 4 great LP's and several EP's we got from them even though i missed them the one time they came through my town and ill never forgive myself for that.

Don't know whether this was directed at me but as much as this is a good point, it doesn't mean John doesn't have a right to feel frustrated at the situation.

I mean I'm not going to pretend I know he's a total ass hole that hates his band-mates for having families and jobs.

Nah I was just messing with that comment, I hope John manages to find other celibate men to play with in his future project.

I saw a vid of him paying some solo stuff live recently and it was pretty damn cool.
