I'm with Talons. Heir Apparent kicks serious ass, though Lotus Eater and Hessian Peel are definitely close behind.
This was actually the first Opeth album I heard. While it's definitely not up to the same standard as their classic albums, its mostly mellow and melodic nature makes it a really good introductory Opeth album. The heavy bits aren't overwhelming and they definitely leave you wanting more.
