Yeah, this record is woefully underrated on here. I love it more than Petitioning and about as much as Axe to Fall. Bare My Teeth and Orphan are very unique for them imo. Plus, this consistently has some of their HEAVIEST material on it.

talking about this album in retrospect, it's probably easier to remember it as being dull. but if you sit down and listen to this album, track-by-track, it's really a fantastic record. much better than the dusk in us

Too bad the tracks are recorded to flow into eachother. Can’t really reorder them without some weird transitions
The best I could do with the record was to put everything up to Grim Heart/Black Rose in order, then cut everything and leave To the Lions as a closer. Had to throw out Orphaned, not really liking it, and the rest just doesn’t flow afterwards. But it’s not really what I’d want the tracklist to look like, cause Lonewolves and Trophy Scars are missing. Guess tracks flowing into eachother have some upsides and downsides
