Wasting Love, Fear of the Dark and Wasting Love are the songs that initially got me interested into this band. Still love them.

lol, it's so catchy I can't type it just once. Love Afraid to Shoot Strangers too.

I remember first listening to Afraid... on ''Live @ Donington'' and I was just amazed to listen to so many solos, my early teens self couldn't handle so much awesomeness.

Just listened to this in its entirety after probably 15 years or so. Even this one doesn't really have a bad song on it. But you can feel the lack of Adrian. Still great though...

“Even this one doesn't really have a bad song on it”. It really doesn’t. Just classic Maiden songs and solos

I get the doubts on those 2 but in the scheme of the album are fine

Weekend Warrior is the worst song on here no doubt, but certainly tolerable. Wasting Love is gold....

I still love this album, never understood why it got so much hate.

Fave is SIT as per usual - whole album is a hair raiser
People underrate number of the beast nowadays but I don't understand why
So many epic riffs crammed into each song and Bruce's singing is just insane

Also, no prayer was much better than I remembered
Get rid of hooks and public enema and it's a really solid album
|

I had the same feeling with NPFTD, had a good time revisiting it. Same with this one.
I think Seventh Son still edges SIT for me, but yeah, those two are and will always be my favorites.
I wanna do a post BNW run soonish too.
