Yeah I shamefully just listen to Spotify now

Although I do have a vinyl collection that takes up like 2 walls that I add to all the time so I don't feel as bad about it

I loved my ipod but I haven't used one in like a decade or more

I know I am going to get crucified but I havent exactly been paying for all this music. Would be impossible for my broke ass to afford even one artists entire discography and special editions, etc. I do have a lot of cds I have purchased over the years, but I would not even listen to the music I am delving into if I did not have it easily accessible on my ipod.

Oh yeah dude, that's why I have spotify

I'm not gonna jam entire discographies by buying all their albums if I never listened to them before, thats like hundreds and hundreds of dollars on one band alone lol

I just get vinyl of my favorites, or ones that I think would sound sick with my setup

Agreed that streaming really unlocks music. There are so many bands that I would pick up one CD from back in the day and would maybe like it, maybe not, and never listen to any more of their stuff because I couldn't afford the albums and didn't have time to sit in front of my computer to hear Youtube rips or the energy to pirate it (lol). Now I'll buy digital copies of music I want to have forever, or CDs/vinyl of stuff I really like, or shirts and stuff to support bands I dig.

Death, Dillinger, Meshuggah - that might actually be all that I have ALL of unless I'm forgetting someone

Yeah so I normally just scoop up albums from Spotify or torrents and give them a listen. Then I will be inclined to maybe catch a show or buy merch, etc.

I have heard a bit of meshuggah. Gotta revisit them and then hear their new stuff. I am almost done with the Death discography. They are quite good. Aggaloch I have as well. Have to check out their material
