'Their discog is their life's work. SK was not the only person in the band or the only person that contributed to the writing process. Their past work has to mean something to them. I'm sure they probably have complicated feelings about some of it but I doubt they wouldn't not play anything old'

Someone of FB (so pinch of salt) said they were gonna play old stuff thhing they said 2 sets at FIRE new album and classics but fk knows. Tbh I dounno how it would work, scott has such a different style of vox than Aaron. Even on here he kinda growls one word at a tim eif you know what i mean its a different flow. Like I wouldnt wanna hear him do A season in the sky for example. But then I can imagine them never playing any TSIB either so well just have to see.

Every song is incredible. I think Aaron’s heaviest presence is on In The Waiting Hours. But we all knew this was a special album on the first spin. The time off benefitted them. The songwriting is amazing. They couldn’t have picked a better front man. The record checks every box.

My wife wants to watch a movie but I want to throw my headphones on and listen to this again. She doesn’t know this.

I know that feeling all too well lmao. My wife wanted to go to Home Depot to get paint and I was like I'm running on one hour of sleep, I'm not going anywhere lmao.

You gotta give it to Aaron Turner. He revived sput and Neurosis at the same time. Guy’s a hero

In all honesty, Ryan has a hand in reviving sput. I think we all know it too.

I also think some old songs could be amazing with Aaron. And probably Till could also take over some parts. I always though his and Scotts vocals were somewhat similar at times

Aaron has been somewhat of a musical hero of mine for a long time. As have these guys. So this happening at all is honestly super surreal. Havent had time to even fully process the current reality yet
