Adler got kicked out because of a neurological condition that impacted the strength in his right foot. I don't think he's capable anymore. It's amazing that Adler went from being THE drummer to working at a Home Depot in Virginia.

Where did you hear that? After LoG he went straight into touring with Megadeth. I also saw a clip (not sure when it's from, but must've been within the last few years) he was asked if he'd ever rejoin LoG if the opportunity arose, and there was nothing about if he can physically still play.

There are a 'handful' of popular songs that he can't nail live anymore so the rest of the group made the decision to oust him.

Here's a recent article mentioning it. Idk how I've gone this long without knowing about it.

I really don't think it was known until very recently. But it was just odd that he hadn't been doing any sort of drumming work since LoG and Megadeath. I feel like he'd be capable of transitioning to a different or slower-paced genre of music but maybe that's not in his nature. It does suck that something out of his control forced him out of the band(s).

Listened to half of this today. Pretty good stuff. It seems like they're actually trying again which is nice.

This is inaccurate. He was in Megadeth simultaneously, played on Dystopia. He stopped touring with Megadeth to focus on LoG, and even recc'd Dirk V from Soilwork for the Megadeth spot. He was kicked out of LoG later - I want to say 2019. I have seen them live many times, and it sucks to say, but he was slipping towards the end. It's a shame - but he did an interview while active in both bands, I forget the actual question but he said in no uncertain terms that drumming in megadeth was his dream growing up, implying he'd rather do that than keep it up with Lamb of God. This was 2016, and I remember thinking that was not going to sit well with the others.
It wasn't until last year that he spoke out about the neurological thing.

Seems like so much longer ago, but then again, I pretty much stopped paying attention to them after Wrath.

If you watch the making of for Sacrament you can tell, even then, that Chris was constantly questioning Morton's riffs as not being metal enough (even Descending he criticized for feeling too slow and that he had to do a lot of work to make it sound metal) or just getting frustrated by what he believed to be a softening of their sound.
I think Megadeath offered him the chance at being a "trve metal" drummer and it probably aligned closely with his personal influences. Plus, I'm sure he thought of it as an honor to play in a band that was already considered one of the GOATs of metal. That's like getting picked to be an All-Star after sweating it out in the minors. Can't fault him for being honest.
Regardless of the medical condition (and unless they had a Slipknotian ironclad ass contract), I do think Chris would have eventually left the band simply for creative differences.

I believe in that same Sacrament making-of he says something about how when a song lets him get up to 230bpm that's where he feels...something, I don't think he said "comfortable" but he was meaning to say that's what gets him going.

Sounds like PtH may have been the perfect fit for him otherwise. Volition has great drumming too
