Liked this a lot more than I thought I would after the first couple tracks. Grows on you. Best riffs since Watershed. Nice mixture of the new and old styles.

Not sure where I’d place this, I like all of the songs but something is missing to tie everything together. I like it more than In Cauda Venenum tho, that might be my least favorite of theirs

getting around to first listen now. seems ok, quite more theatrical than previous records, I guess that makes sense with the story ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I haven't loved an Opeth album since Ghost Revs and haven't listened to the previous two, but this doesn't seem like a huge drop in quality. feels more or less like Watershed to me (:
