Eh, I don’t get the complaint about the prod on the last page. Prod is hella solid. I certainly feel the meat in them riffs
I mean the song-writing could stand to be more interesting, but whatever it’s not bad

imagine this album with pristine production, it wouldn't work at all

Yeah that's what I was thinking of too. Production might be strange but it does fit the sound at least. With crisp production this record would fall completely flat. Production could still be improved and remain 'dirty' though.

I just meant to say it seemed too quiet, I had to turn the volume up when I listened to it then down when I listened to something else but it’s not really an issue

Where's that Fallujah production when you need it
|

Album Rating: 4.0
Fallujah prod sounds like having a blowfly trapped in your ear. All thump and buzz and nothing in between.

this very much feels like godflesh with slightly less industrial

You can tell they really love (early) Korn. Frownland is so good.

Really just wish I liked it as much as Gods Country. It’s fucking quality for sure but there aren’t any tracks as immediately gripping as Why, Slaughterhouse, or Wicked Puppet Dance imo

And yeah dewi, I’m pretty sure they’ve admitted a few times they love Korn. I think their own label kinda roasted them for it lmfao

yeah i went back to korn's st and it's so clear how influenced this is
they are to korn like counterparts are to misery signals. by no means a bad thing, but neither band would exist without the original

I'm not sure who is in charge of them, but they need to have figured out that Chat Pile needs to open for Godflesh soon at some gig, right?

Okay finally listened and yeah musically this is very Godflesh meets Korn via AmphRep and it rocks
