Been saying it since the KL album. Get Drew Fulk tf away from metalcore.

Went from one of the best produced bands out there to whatever the fuck that new song is.

Drew Fulk made the KL record sound like a million bucks. He doesn't mesh very well with these guys tho unfortunately.

As a brain dead knuckle-dragging ass-beating hxc enjoyer, I quite like the new song and anyone who disagrees with me can come squash at the pit, ya scrawny lil nerd.
jk but it really is fun.

Drew absolutely took Knocked Loose and elevated it to a whole other stratosphere production wise. Shocked to find out he's responsible for this new Boundaries track, it has to be a stylistic choice and not a very good one at that.

New song is easily the worst thing they've ever made, and the production is fucking heinous. What a bummer.

I wish they made more songs like Armageddon
Shame that one didn't make it on an album. Such a banger

HAHAHAH THAT PRODUCTION IS HILARIOUSLY BAD
How many effects do you need to put on a drum kit to make it even sound like that. Imagine you hear this as a band and think 'yeah this reflects how we wanted it to sound'... no wayyyy. It's not even mixed/mastered by a band member trying it for the first time, but actually by someone who's produced pretty nice sounding record. what the fuck

I think we can objectively say Fulk made KL sound “bigger” but I don’t think heavy and big are synonymous. I felt that album lacked riffs, as does this single. On both. The guitars sound quite synthetic to me compared to metalcore/hardcore that’s produced by Putney or Leboeuf.

Yeah this one is legit like… how did anyone say yeah we like this lol

It's like they didn't even try from a songwriting perspective, those are some of the most boring nothing instrumentals I've heard in a hot minute. Wow an entire song of panic cords and chugs, really engaging stuff guys. The production takes an already bad song and makes it truly offensive.
If this is any sort of indication of future direction this band is dead to me lol.

Yo Matt just hopped on Reddit and gave us an different mix, asking for opinions. It's still not great by any means but it's better for sure. Awesome of him to do that.

Agree if this is the direction I will not touch them.
That is cool, but also… odd? Like put out a track and the feedback is horrific so you re-do it? Not saying that’s bad just… weird
Edit: actually read his post and that makes more sense. But wow. They actually liked the mix they put out 😳

I don't really care about the mix but mad props to them to talk about these issues, that's a very nice gesture.
Song is ok-tier, just dumb chugfest. I hope we'll have some good sadboi core like on this one.

Crazy they liked that mix indeed, makes you wonder on what kind of monitors or headphones these guys are listening to their music. On just a quick check with pretty awful headphones the drums still sound equally bad so I cannot say I prefer the other mix...
