First single from upcoming album drops tomorrow. I listened to it on YouTube using VPN. I’d say on first listen it’s pretty by the numbers Insomnium. Maybe a little overly so. Not a bad song but seemed a little been there done that.

I really like the new song. It's more omnium gatherum esque than usual. It's catchy and upbeat with kick ass straightforward instrumentation. The last album could have used some of that energy

New songs certainly an Insomnium song... feels like they are retreading familiar ground and playing it safe. Its not bad but its just bland and kind of eh and they themselves have done the same song but better

Sounds like a generic Markus Vanhala track. I would be suprised if it was written by Ville who imo writes way better riffs.
Who is singing the cleans? Ville? It's difficult to distinguish the cleans here from the last vocalist they chucked.
