Agreed Gonz. From the sound of Whiplash and Curse, while its still nothing particularly amazing it sounds like they have sort of worked out their direction and listened to feedback with the last two records.

I think Tom used to write the lyrics, tom(Leftover stuff)/Dan/Sam i think did lyrics for Holy Hell. Then it was just Sam/Dan for the next one and now its all Sam doing lyrics.

Im not exactly thrilled about the transphobi thing. That being said i think if he genuinely believed in all of that shit he would have been given the boot asap, considering the bands general stand on things, he probably got torn to shreds by everyone else. If it happens again or more intense then yeah they can fuck off.
Also the bands still a soft spot for me, so harder to let go of guilty pleasure

Holy Hell's lyrics were a pale shadow of Tom's lyric style. It's not like the lyrics were ever amazing, but they were pretty good when Tom did them. Solid stuff.
